Kristina Pelkola is the chief research MRI technologist for the Research Imaging Core and is the manager of research operations for the Department of Radiology. She has over 15 years’ experience in MRI imaging both pediatrics and adult populations. She is an active member of the Society for MR Radiographers & Technologists (SMRT) with recent abstract awards. She has represented the SMRT by serving on the ISMRM Detection and Correction of Motion in MRI and MRS Study Group. She enjoys working with and learning from colleagues while setting up and deploying imaging studies.
