Mustafa Utkur is a postdoctoral research fellow at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He received his Ph.D. degree in September 2021 and M.Sc. degree in January 2017 from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and his B.Sc. degree in June 2014 from the Department of Mechanical Engineering all at Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey. During his graduate studies, he worked on Magnetic Particle Imaging (MPI) systems, and he developed novel techniques that broaden MPI’s capability to functional imaging applications. Since joining Computational Research Laboratory in 2022, his research focus has been the development of motion-robust diffusion-weighted MR imaging for brain and kidney applications as well as dynamic field correction methods using FID navigators.
